Who am I?
Well, let’s get started here. Who the heck am I and why am I writing this blog? I certainly wouldn’t dub myself a “professional stylist”, but I certainly have been around the block a few times and I know what I like. That is, Vintage! And better yet, vintage on a budget. Can it be done? You better believe your bottom dollar! As the classic saying goes, “if I knew then what I know now”, I would have taken my twenties by storm with non stop fashion each and every day. Now I am content to take my forties by storm instead.
As a stay at home mom of four boys, frugal is a household name. But I am a diva at heart and prefer to skip the sweat pants and yoga pants and dress as if I am having tea with the Lady of the House each and every day. Hey, a girl can dream, right? After a great deal of experimenting, I have settled into a style of my own and I really like where I am at. I have a love for cardigans, pixie pants, pencil skirts, polka dots, pin stripes, Mary Jane’s, skater dresses, swing dresses and wiggle dresses. And you can get them all for pennies on the dollar! So, without further adieu, let’s get started!
My name is Savvy Reign Spitfire and I’m a internationally published pinup model, vintage fashion blogger, singer of The Golden Ages, 4boymom, and avidly expressive writer of poetry, lyrics and journalism. I’ve been published in The Pink Elephant and Heels For Combat Boots Annual Publication (2016). I squeeze in some community theatre and several performances of the National Anthem including Cleveland’s own The Q! I love celebrating women’s beauty and playing Susie Homemaker, Betty Crocker and Betty Boop all in a day’s work. I have created my own little world where I practice RESPECT everyday. I believe that dressing well not only shows respect for yourself, but respect for others. R E S P E C T. Resourceful Elegance & Spontaneous Passion Embraces Courageous Trends.
